suburbanargyle
I certainly wouldn't hesitate to buy a DVD of something I wanted from VC.

jhulud
As long as their specfic to bands and music...I don't see why it wouldn't hurt. Unless it's not potentially profitable for you.
Guest falloutcollapse
I think a lot of people would find it helpful if you carried music DVDs that you know would cater to your main group of customers. It's a good idea!
patron
Definitely a good idea.

kevtv
Definitely. There's some really great ones (by far my favorite being the Bouncing Souls documentary). Maybe test the water with some proven titles and see where it goes. Kev

hickey
I could never get into music dvds...documentaries on bands and eras are cool, but I find concert dvds boring.

They're good as background at a party because you have the movie and music.

They good as background at a party because you have the movie and music. Good point, but most of my friends aren't into the same music as I am. Typically, parties end up with an iPod on shuffle and the room explodes when Maiden comes on...that's the one thing we all agree on.

sherlock
i think you should carry everything that's music oriented and profitable for you.
kyle
I could never get into music dvds...documentaries on bands and eras are cool, but I find concert dvds boring. I agree. I own the Murder City Devils RIP DVD and the Propagandhi DVD. I watched both once and put them away. I also have the Against Me! DVD that I watched two or three times and the Murder City Devils documentary VHS which I watched the fuck out of when I was 15. I'd probably pick up the Gilman St. DVD and maybe the Fucked Up one depending on the price, but as you can see I'm not totally crazy about music DVDs. AlexH.
The only band related DVDs I've ever not hated were the Aquabats DVD of Serious Awesomeness! and Flogging Molly's Whiskey on a Sunday. Most every other one I've seen is garbage (MxPx B Movie, anyone?).

seafoamgreen
I've never purchased a music DVD. Concert films aren't for me (whcih is funny since I've shot a dozen of them). But tour films are good (Meeting People Is Easy, Love Tonight Sold Out, Don't Look Back, etc.).
silentgods
stuff like envy, mono and the new lamb of god DVD is stuff i would prefer to buy from VC as opposed to faceless corporations.
