Bladewillisisdead
Edit: Nevermind, Google chrome tabs froze and told me I was in the NIN thread Edited May 10, 2017 by Bladewillisisdead
MCDELTAT
(multiple photos). So this arrived already. I won't be able to listen to it until later tonight, but I do gotta say that the packaging get's an A. The Vampire Red is really nice. I would say the only bummer is that the additional "Ambient" LP doesn't actually have a slot in the jacket, basically, it was just sitting there in the middle of the gatefold. So I guess I'll give them separate sleeves in my shelf.
DecayToDeath
The EP not having its own jacket kinda sucks. Does it fit within either of the pockets for the album? Like, is either one sized up to accommodate another disc?

Like, is either one sized up to accommodate another disc? The pockets of the gatefold seemed pretty loose, but I wasn't planning on putting it in there. Was just gonna give it a separate outer sleeve. It's not the biggest deal because surprisingly, it didn't have any seam splits. The shrink wrap got it good. CatsNJazz
According to bullmoose's website the deluxe is limited to 700. Can anyone confirm or deny? I picked one up at my local store easily and find that kind of hard to believe
raanmaarz
Hey so I picked up a copy of this record at The Mountain Goats show in Atlanta last night and it's a totally different deluxe/limited variant on Midnight Blue Splatter and I can't find any information on it whatsoever. ATL was the first tour stop and the merch-person didn't seem to have any insider info on the record other than they "had about 100 or so in the van" - I'm not sure what this could mean for numbers ... anyways here is your proof https://www.discogs.com/The-Mountain-Goats-Goths/release/10336998

Looks to be tour exclusive. I searched and there's nothing else mentioned anywhere. Sucks that they're not coming here. They'll be like three hours away in July with Jason Isbell, but ehhhh. Finally checked out this album today and it's awesome. This blue variant looks better than the red! If anyone is seeing them soon and wants to help me grab one, that would be pretty cool. raanmaarz

Isbell shows are fantastic, you should definitely think about going. This run should be more rock focused too. raanmaarz
B-dosia
If anybody going to either of the SF shows can pick me up a tour variant, I would forever be grateful and make it worth your while.
