flood
Another Yankees/Phillies WS is going to fucking blow. Ill be rooting heavily against both of those teams. I wanna see a 2 new teams in the WS.Im hoping for a Reds/Twins WS. I know it wont happen but it would be pretty awesome. The Phillies are probably the only NL team that has the starting pitching to match the Yanks top 3 starters tho. a reds twins WS woud have horribly low ratings tho

blackswanns
I hope Philly and the Yanks don't make it back either but if they do I hope Philly takes it in 4 and shut the Yanks out each game and possibly throw 4 no hitters in a row. Not going to happen but I can dream.

311thrice
Go Rays and Braves :-)going to Tampa/Texas game 1 I'm going to game 4...assuming it goes to game 4. I don't see a sweep happening either way, though. It's going to be a great series, especially the first game with Lee going up against Price. dynamitekid
Sad that the Padres collapsed as hard as they did but being from San Diego, you knew it was inevitable. They had a 6 game lead on Aug. 27th.
flood
i have tickets to both games at yankee stadium for round one, and the first two games for round two if they make it... so im pretty psyched
bunnypuncher
I'm a childhood Twins fan from my time living in North Dakota, so I've always got a soft spot for them. Of course, the Yankees could be playing Nazi Germany and I would still root against the Yankees...
rno13
I hoping the Twins can turn things around this year. Fingers crossed I guess.

travis
Well I saw something encouraging about my Angels. Owner Arte Moreno said he is angry and will spend whatever he needs to spend this offseason to get the team back to the playoffs. Hoping that means Crawford will be in an Angels uniform next year. Doubt they will be able to get him and still go after Lee. They need help in the pen and they need someone to play third. Would love to see them get Beltre but Id imagine Beltre will resign with Boston.
tomoleksy
Price is having a rough outing, pretty interesting start to the playoffs.
311thrice
Price had a rough outing because the Rangers can hit the ball. They showed an in-game interview with Maddon and he said that Price looked normal...the Rangers were just hitting. It's so sweet to see people still counting the Rangers out and seeing them thrive. Sure the Rangers got swept in August by the Rays, but they didn't have Young, Cruz, or Kinsler.
tomoleksy
I wasn't counting them out by any means and actually want the Rangers in this series, I was just surprised Price gave up so many runs so fast.
311thrice
Oh I wasn't pointing any fingers...sorry if it seemed that way. I just don't see a lot of people who think the Rangers can go the distance, so when they win, it's that much sweeter.
travis
Halladay has a no-no thru 7 innings! That would be insane for him to throw a no hitter in his first post season game. This guy is just ridiculous.
danthemjfan23
is it just me, or did it look like ryan howard's foot came off the bag a little bit too quickly on that last out? also, why were NONE of the reds swinging at the first pitch? that's bad managing/coaching as far as i'm concerned. he was throwing first pitch strike to almost every batter. either way, roy is filthy. I noticed that as well. However, every time I think that, I am wrong. I think first basemen are just experts at it. Not that any ump would call that play anything but an out short of a throw into the stands. Not after the "perfect game" debacle in Cleveland this season. danthemjfan23
true, haha. NBA players step over the baseline VERY frequently when inbounding the ball after a basket by the opposing team, but nobody cares to call it as a violation. i imagine this is the same. flood
yeah i really think his foot was off the bag too... i kept rewinding it last night... but the angle was never good... they shot they kept showing seemed to focus on the catcher till the second. and wtf on that blown call in the 9th of the yanks/twins game?
mclz
Yea, and sticking with the call after Girardi showed them no grass on the ball was retarded, but I'm not surprised these umps suck.
311thrice
For once in my life, I'm rooting for the Yanks to win this series so that the Rangers could have home field advantage during the ALCS. Plus, the Yanks have beat the Rangers in all 3 post season series...It'd be cool to take one from them. And yeah that call in the 9th last night was bogus...it wasn't even close to hitting the ground. I bet the umps knew they were wrong, but didn't want to overturn it because it would've set the fans off. At least it didn't matter.
