cwhitmuzik
can we have them back? signed, NL Central teams. It's funny because I know as of a day or two ago, the top 3 NL Central teams already had the best records in the NL. imagine if they had the Astros too to beat up on... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Haha I know... it would have been nice if the central lost a good team instead ofa bad one.... hell I'd have welcomed Milwaukee returning to the al
thebiglebowski
Add to this that Crawford just left with a pulled hamstring And called up. Pumped to see him play.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Brewers just traded for Juan Francisco, DFA'd Alex Gonzalez, sent Mike Feirs to AAA and called up Scooter Gennett. So stoked on all of that right now. looks like there is a good chance Milwaukee will be taking serious considerations for Ramirez and Hart in the next 6 weeks. chamb117
picked up puig but totally dropped the ball on grabbing wacha off waivers and i hate myself for it. i was able to grab gausman but everything points to wacha being much more polished and more immediately productive. with crawford and kemp on the DL, who's in the dodgers outfield? ethier, puig? van slyke? thebiglebowski
9 homers in 10 games for Dom Brown. Kinda happy that worked out for the Phils (or at least seems to have worked out). Always like the Rollins / Victorino / Utley / Howard combo and they really need ONE solid dude on the way up to build around going forward... Curious to see what his end of season stats end up being
chamb117
i love reading all the analysis on brown. stat nerds are saying it's unsustainable because he's not walking, but something like 14 of his homers have been in hitters' counts, and he's working into more favorable counts in the first place. then, once he's there, he has increased his swing rate by almost 20%, taking advantage of the better pitches he's getting. his chase rate (outside the zone) is higher, but so is his contact rate. i'm basically just reciting what i've read. but his walk rate really isn't that low despite all the hubbub about no walks in may. it's somewhat of a statistical anomaly anyway, just like this homer binge. thebiglebowski
ESPN just texted me that MLB is about to drop suspensions on everyone involved in Biogenesis. That is a bombshell.

Guest
ortiz with a double and triple, and it's still the second inning... and 8-0. think the sox are bitter about that sweep last month?
lemongoat
You know The Yankees are praying A-Rod gets 100 games and they can save $18 mil. I hope Braun finally gets his suspension. I'm not sure I've mentioned this, but my best buds mom is from Wisconsin and actually knows the guy and has his cell. However, she would not text him "wtf" as I requested :/

Mike T is gonna shit himself if braun is suspended. this team is definitely going to be selling come july. the guy i'm playing this week in my H2H league has braun and we're tied for 2nd so i am A-OK with the events unfolding today
cwhitmuzik
I really hope the last two days show that Heyward finally is getting his shit back together. He's been miserable this year. This Braves outfield that was supposed to be so incredible fell apart big time this year.
