thebiglebowski
Think this is one of the few years the Tigers actually have a first round pick. Also, I believe the tigers (despite leading the league in batting average) also lead in games with zero runs (6, Astros have 5).

cwhitmuzik
Cole to start on Tesuday for the Buccos Read that earlier. I don't think he's going to be that good this year but it'll be fun to watch. Bad feeling he could be the next Edwin Jackson.

thebiglebowski
Marcum threw more innings than Harvey today. Wonder what the single game record for most innings in relief is. 8 gotta be up there.
chamb117
a few crazy extra-inning games recently! and everyone has to hate casey janssen... straight up doubled the length of the game after blowing the save.
GradedOnACurve
Other than Matt Harvey, David Wright, and Bobby Parnell, it is really tough to watch the Mets right now. Alderson has been good at stocking the farm system, but has been TERRIBLE at finding good stopgap players and a decent bullpen. Zack Wheeler can't get here soon enough so those radio callers could talk about something else.

thebiglebowski
sox go up 6-0 before recording an out. that can't bode well for cobb's era He's still right around 3. Very good pitcher going against a very good offense. Offense won today. He's still got a bright future and will get the sox back some time down the road. thebiglebowski
Rays placed RHP Alex Cobb on the bereavement list. Advice: Cobb's grandmother passed away this week and he will be gone for at least the next three days. The Rays have called up youngster Jake Odorizzi to pitch out of the bullpen and to possibly make a spot start. (Rotoworld.com) Sox should be ashamed of themselves...beating down a guy with a dying grandmother...
