lokithelion
the b-sides for Four Year Strong's lp are so much better than the record. Beep Beep has a killer melodic break down that's just killer and Gotta Get Out shows off vocal melodies that were often lacking on Rise or Die. What other b-sides are better than the records they were recorded for?
bouncingsoles123
B is for B Sides by LTJ I'd say is almost on par with Anthem.
sgoodcore
A shit ton of Alkaline Trio b-sides have been better than the songs on the album.
riddle350
B is for B Sides by LTJ I'd say is almost on par with Anthem. I deffinetly agree and I actually really like Anthem
n1590
The minus the bear planet of ice b-sides for sure. i actually substituted double vision quest and when we escape for those b-sides, and when i burned it to a cd, making planet of ice 2.0, it was still surprisingly coherent. mattramone
I'll take the singles and b-sides over the rest of the tracks on You Are the Quarry.
von
There are some really good bad religion songs that never made it onto some of the albums and for life of me I could never understand why, songs like news from the front or shattered faith... mclz
B is for B Sides by LTJ I'd say is almost on par with Anthem. at first i thought that b is for b-sides was better than anthem, but now i like anthem more.
mediocore
I find myself listening to Cocktails & Dreams more often than the full-lengths. That's not to because the full-lengths suck or anything... I just really dig their EP and Comp tracks.
skumbucket
lawrence arms and alkaline trio for sure...i'd say the latest hold steady record, but both the b-sides and the album are flawless so that doesn't really work. i liked the japanese b-side from the new pornographer's "electric version" better than any of the songs on the album proper. john
All the New Wave b-sides, AFI had some really good ones from the Sing the Sorrow era
suburbanargyle
I'm a huge fan of b-sides in general, and usually find myself wondering why some didn't make it on the album.
reachforthesky
The Cure have many B - sides that are way better than songs on records. Ex: Halo, 2 Late.
scotterson
All the New Wave b-sides also from the SFAFC demos, the "are you really listening" song is my favorite from that time...except maybe even at our worst..., that song is amazing. mattramone
I always thought NOFX had really strong B-Sides. Their b-sides record was better than it deserved to be.
lostapostle
Deftones song "Lovers" was pretty awesome. B-side from the self-titled.
scratchzilla
First of all, I agree with Swank, NOFX has great B-sides. Which leads into my point. The B-Side has become something more than just a place to dump leftover songs after the album is done. You have to have a kick ass b-side. That's how you get noticed. Nobody cares about the single, it's already on the album. It's all in the b-side.

kidamnesiac
any radiohead b-sides from the bends on are as good as if not better than what's on the lps. the cure has always had hella great b-sides. the b-sides from smashing pumpkins' zeitgeist were startlingly good. lastly, ben folds' cover of dre's "bitches ain't shit" was originally released on the b-side of "landed"
adamlikesmusic
Against Me! and NOFX, both mentioned. I liked a good number of the Me First And The Gimme Gimmes b-sides as well.
