nivek87
Who are your other players? That's not too bad a trade, but I might not want to keep MJD if you can keep a stud in a double digit round. I feel like he MJD, Cruz, and McCoy would be a great way to start next season going in with a early pick as well.
PC Music
Looking at that, definitely the right choices.
nivek87
Keeper rules aren't consistent but most don't allow you to give up the draft pick of the round you took a player. You give up your top draft pick to keep someone. From the original post it seems this would be the case. we keep 3, required to, so we are essentially starting in the 4th round sort of next season. nivek87
struck a deal with another guy, my Larry Fitz and Daren Sproles and my 7th round pick for RGIII and his 4th pick. so next year i'll be looking at mjd, cruz, and rgIII accompanied by two 4th round picks. nivek87
Pretty dumb to allow teams to trade future draft picks why you say that? makes things much more interesting and a lot more strategy.
thebiglebowski
It works in the real NFL because a GM has a fiduciary and moral responsibility to balance winning now with winning in the future. It's a system of checks and balances that fantasy football doesn't have. Why wouldn't you continue to make trades like this, then? Why don't you find someone to trade you their first 5 draft picks next year for your first 5 draft picks the following? You will both have a huge advantage and likely each take a win and some good money. I'm guessing that would be obvious collusion that would get vetoed. It's just the extreme example of what happens when you can trade future picks. I guess if it is allowed, take advantage of it as far as you can. I wouldn't want it in my leagues. thebiglebowski
Heard the first one a bunch of times for different teams. Never heard the second one. Maybe since most people don't joke about suicides.
seangj
Do you think Bowe will be able to get some garbage points tonight with Cassel starting, or is Mike WIlliams a better start this week? I was really hoping that Bowe would have been traded.
thebiglebowski
Mike Williams has been really good lately. He barely missed adding another touchdown in that NO game I believe. I would go with him.

seangj
I tried to get them off the waiver wire, but someone else grabbed them before me. I'm glad I didn't start Bowe, but hope Williams has a good game this week. I need a win bad.
thebiglebowski
Didn't start Chargers D but happy they had those 2 scores. Bet the over 41. Needed them. My fantasy opponent started Mathews. That's a big win for me.
PC Music
I started Mathews and Chargers D. I was aiming for 30 points between the two and even with Mathews' dud game I got 34 so I guess I can't be too mad. Still, the way they use him is so annoying. I keep thinking it's going to change and keep starting him, but it's pretty apparent things aren't changing.

maxnadz
Thoughts on Thomas v. Law Firm / Bryant v. Colston? It's scary how similar our teams are.
thebiglebowski
Atlanta has been the 3rd stingiest team to opposing WR so far this year. And Pierre Thomas is definitely more interesting with Sproles out a long time but it's not like Sproles was taking many carries from him. I doubt all those catches go to Thomas. Denver has a very good pass rush and Benjarvis is a bruiser. Should get a good workload. So that is the long way of saying, you have it right. zacaroo21
