chefchino
Totally forgot about Blaine run and hide Gabbert Really interested to see how he does if he comes in for Colin. I was a gabbert apologist for his whole tenure in Jacksonville so it'll be cool to see what he can do with a good offensive line and a proper receiving corp. TheMoosen
Skins signed Colt McCoy today, calling it now SUPERBOWL! There are still people here who believe he should still be starting here. It doesnt shock me though. Was listening to local sports radio last week and one of the guys jokingly said there is at least 2% of Browns fans who would not trade Hoyer straight up for Romo. They got bombarded with people who would not do that trade. Its no wonder we are the laughing stock of the sports world.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Colt McCoy had potential, it was just destroyed when the Browns tried to kill him numerous times on the field
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Is it weird that i care way more about the NFL off-season than I do about the MLB regular season? 9 games into a 162 game schedule being overshadowed by the largest professional sport in the country's free agency pre-draft period? no, its not weird and you're not alone. I, personally, dont care much about the NFL off-season because the Packers never do much and I love baseball more than any other sport, but I definitely can see why others would feel the way you do MLB offseason is right in the middle of the NFL season. NHL offseason is right in the middle of MLB season. NBA offseason, who gives a shit. the NFL just has the perfect timing in terms of being able to generate interest
catalinacaper
Colt McCoy is definitely a better QB now coming off a year working with Harbaugh. I don't care if he was a backup, Harbaugh is a QB preener.
chefchino
More trouble for the 9ers. Having your starting Qb investigated for rape allegations is never a good thing even if he's not guilty.

dave_jones
Hate how with these situations you're usually guilty until proven innocent. I, personally, won't be quick to jump to conclusions. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
lemongoat
He's a complete moron for putting himself in this situation, whether he is guilty or innocent. He's asking the 49ers for $20 mil, and he goes and hangs out in an apartment with weed and girls? You can't have it both ways.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
actually, they can. you watch, if he's not guilty he'll still get paid. he'll get to hangout with girls, weed and $20 million a year.

I do agree. I worded it a little too literally.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
ala Big Ben. two alleged sexual assault/rape accusations, yet still got/kept his $100 million dollar contract that he signed in between those two allegations.
catalinacaper
I'm biased but, while it looks bad on the whole, when you read the story the girl has already claimed that she and he didn't engage in any sexual activity when they were alone so it would strike me as strange if something really wrong went on here (besides being an idiot)

But the story really doesn't seem all that incriminating. I don't think you rape a girl and then take her to the hospital.
catalinacaper
Miami police now basically saying TMZ made the story up, nothing about a sexual assault was ever claimed.

dave_jones
Apparently Manziel had the best Wonderlic score of this draft's QBs. Too bad that is basically meaningless, and I'm still convinced he won't be anything special in the NFL.
chefchino
The browns matched Jacksonvilles offer for Mack. Even tho the jags won't be getting him, I'm proud that they tried really hard. It shows that khan isn't afraid to open up the check book when it comes to rebuilding this franchise.

chefchino
great player too. Glad we got to keep him. the way I saw it, jags NEEDED him due to our inevitable starting rookie Qb needing all the help he could get. The browns are in the same position and they definitely took notice.
