monk0nuggets
Just got off the phone with them. They are no longer working with GZ. They are now doing everything through their own plant apparently. They can't disclose the exact plant, but it is in California. Just thought a lot of you dudes would like to know that. riddle350
I assume this would make recordpressing.com's coast cheaper than they have been.
cactusbot
I assume this would make recordpressing.com's coast cheaper than they have been. Let's hope so! I would try them out.
andywax
Bill Smiths is another pressing plant in CA.
jailhouse
Bill Smiths is another pressing plant in CA. yeah if they used Bill Smith, their prices would probably be the same as they are now. Probably better quality though. Doesn't Bill smith use like a semi manual press? I wouldn't think they would be able to handle a whole heap of volume? Good shit though!, I have been wanted to use recordpressing for a while now, but they have been so backed up, hopefully this will relieve them a bit. Also this is rather Interesting
nickheitman
Also this is rather Interesting is it? hmmmmm...
monk0nuggets
The plant they are using isn't a plant we already know of I think. They told me they are the only ones using them as of right now. Also, I'm not sure they are taking new clients as of right now either, which is kind of a bummer for people that haven't used them before. When you try and get a quote through their website it says they aren't.
jailhouse
well hopefully that will free em up a little bit, more space etc. Eager to hear more about it, I am guessing they will post on their website whenever they completely are changed over. Very interesting
rhythmgtr5
Maybe i'm out of the loop; what was wrong with GZ?
forgeagain
What the hell kind of company isn't taking new clients? If you have more clients than time you should be expanding, dummies.
gileadbot
Yea Bill Smith is manual presses and can't handle the volume of one plant's direct sales and a broker's sales as well. They are overflowing as it is.
sgoodcore
I'll definitely give recordpressing.com a harder look when they start taking clients again. Being in CA I could probably just pick-up the records like I do with Rainbo and save on all the shipping costs.
