cwilks
took Bryzgalov two games to do what Boucher and Bobrovsky couldn't do in 82 games last season. It's a good monkey to get off his back early. Along with goals from 3 new guys early.

mcm1610
Sabres looking close-to-dominant early on. And by looking I mean sounding, because I had to listen to them instead of watching them.

sebastian
Sabres just got the lead with 2.8 left in the 2nd period. Vanek snipped one right past Carey Price, beautiful stuff. They made a great play off the face off with in only 5.9 seconds. Sabres are gonna finnally pull it through this year and bring home the cup, they are too stacked not to. Snaggle Von Swift
4-0-1 start for the Flyers. HUGE 7-2 win tonight against Ottawa. Sean Couturier with his first NHL goal and Harry Zolniercyzk with his first NHL goal. Rookie Matt Read with a goal and three assists. Looking awesome to start the season! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
James Neal with 6 goals, and no Crosby/Malkin to really play with. Looks like he finally learned Bylsma's system
mcm1610
Sabres with an ugly, ugly first period but played well after to beat MTL. They looked better beating Pitt the other day, but a win's a win.
mcm1610
Sabres outshooting Florida 28-18 with 14 minutes left in the game. They barely look like they're trying but it's only 2-0. Honeymoon is over with Gragnani, though. Put Weber in, let's see how he does compared to MAG.

Snaggle Von Swift
I'm excited to see Winnipeg tonight as they come to Philly, even if they are off to a shitty start.
shenanigans
I'm excited to see Winnipeg tonight as they come to Philly, even if they are off to a shitty start. winnipeg = thrashers with shittier players. their shitty start will probably continue for the rest of the season

mcm1610
Sabres lose two ugly games to the Lightning, trying to get their first (true) home win of the season against Columbus.
shenanigans
Idk flyers just lost to the winless at home Canadians. I'm not saying winnipeg won't win some games. But they're by no means a play off team.
Snaggle Von Swift
that was by far the most frustrating game i've ever been to. Flyers were down 5-1, pulled Bob, winded up going ahead, 7-6, Bryz let up a Horrible goal and team stopped skating.. Jets win 9-
teganandsara
Oilers stealing a win from Wash feels good man.
Snaggle Von Swift
and to make matters worse, this is not what you want to here from your teams big $51 million dollar goalie acquisition: "I am the guy who has to stop the puck and clean the mistakes behind [D] but I can't stop a simple shot. That's why players maybe make more mistakes, because they don't have confidence in their goalie. The goalie is bad. I am the reason why we lost the game." "I have zero confidence in myself right now," he said. "I am terrible. (The offense) scores eight goals and we are still losing. It's obviously a terrible goalie and that's me. "I am the reason we lost the game tonight. I am lost in the woods right now." fuck.
mcm1610
Hahaha that's awesome. I love that it's been over a decade since the Flyers have had their goalie situation figured out, problem free.
mcm1610
And btw, how about Vanek? 14 points in 9 games, huge goals, great play around the net and down low, killing penalties.
