daniel
So I have a handful of records that I need to get rid of. None of them are really rare whatsoever. What's the best way to get rid of them? I contemplated eBay, but with such common items I don't see why anyone would buy them there. Ideas? rtw88
What kind of records are they? Maybe put them in lots on ebay with a BIN price and see if anyone bites.

daniel
The records I'm looking to get rid of ASAP are... AFI - Decemberundergroun 12" gatefold Armor For Sleep - Smile For Them 12" Coheed and Cambria - No World For Tomorrow 2x12" The Mars Volta - France The Mute 3x12" Panic! At The Disco - A Fever You Can't Sweat Out 12" gatefold Silversun Pickups - Carnavas 2x12" with 7" and a few Minus The Bear dupes Most were gifts. I don't listen to any of them and don't really plan on it. Edit: For Silversun Pickups. Didn't realize I had two.

rhythmgtr5
you could always hold on them and hope that they become more desirable or just saves them for trades. All the bands you listed are pretty popular
jhulud
I've been trying to dump my copy of Coheed's record on eBay and no bites...

I can see Panic garnering some attention ifthe vinyl trend continues to pick up, but I bought mine for $7 on clearance at a Hot Topic as kind of a "why not" thing. Then I listened to it and remembered 'why not'.

patron
I don't get why you'd ever "need" to get rid of records. It costs nothing to sit on them for a while. Worst case just trade them all into a shop and get 2-3 albums you do like out it.
kurtz
Donate them to a thrift store.
daniel
I'd rather see them go to someone that wants them than just sit and collect dust on my shelf...

Aside from any Finch, Thrice, Underoath, or Thursday albums I'm not looking to trade.
