casey Posted November 5, 2008 Share Posted November 5, 2008 Last night I looked at my 2 1/2 year-old daughter and thought "I hope this girl is ten years old when Obama leaves office." My daughter (I am adopting her, she is actually my wife's biological child) is bi-racial and it means so much to me that she can grow up in a country where a man like Obama can be the President. Not just for the racial aspect, but because I legitimately believe he has the whole nation's best interest at heart and will really bring about positive social advances. I was able to vote absentee in Ohio and I'm REALLY glad I did. I've never been more proud to be an American. This is an exciting time!
