perk900
I know going to work usually sucks, but yesterday was awesome because I got to grab a stack of records and listen to them on our new turntable. Any audiophiles out there will definitely enjoy these. If you're not jealous, you should be... I'm going back tomorrow to do it some more... I can't wait to listen to the Larry Arms, Dear Landlord and the Clash...

desensitizedbyu
I can only imagine how much that setup would be.
perk900
you may not want to know how much that setup is, but i can tell you that some of the components probably cost more than the records it cost to actually record, produce, and press some of the records i will listen to on it... jhulud
Dude!!! What is your job and how can we (my brother and I) can go about doing it?!?!? That is awesome!
ohnotherobot
The real secret here is to get on Employment Insurance, and then sit at home for three months, get paid for it, and listen to/buy records all day. Man, life is sweet. But not quite as sweet as that turntable.

xxmartinxx
That McIntosh gear is intense! It's crazy that Mc just put out a turntable. It's a vinyl world, people!
devilstrombone
I wish I could listen to records at work. All we have is a shitty cd player that this girl plays Mika on all the time.
perk900
The store is on the Main Line outside Philly... If anyone on the board goes there i'll make sure they get a discount on whatever they get... I helped design that system, but they transferred me to our other store so i don't get to hang out all the time... I got to go back this week and next week to help them out with inventory... So in return for that, I get to sit back and listen to LPs on my breaks... The McIntosh gear really lets you appreciate Music, and if you ever get the chance you need to do it... Today's Listening List Tim Barry - Laurel St. Demos Dear Landlord / Off with their Heads - Split Dear Landlord / Chinese Telephones - Split Me First - Cash Nancy - Snakes on an EP The Clash - White Riot Single The Lawrence Arms - Fat Club P.S. Its ok to hate me for this, i understand...
mrc
our office is moving to a bigger building and they will have extra office space for like a stress relief room and wanted to have peoples input on fun things to have in the space. i of course said records and a sweet and player and a pinball machine. a couple people seconded my idea so Im crossing my fingers we get something fun.
