rhinoceric
Well, I recently bought a copy, and it is on black vinyl. On the side of the jacket sleeve, it says "IODINE RECORDINGS NUMBER FIVE." Does this mean it was the fifth record pressed hand numbered of this pressing, and is Your Favorite Weapon on black vinyl the first pressing/the rarest or is it the most common? I am just very curious and would like to know. Wikipedia states that, "500 copies were pressed on clear blue vinyl and 100 copies were pressed on white. Because of high demand, Iodine Recordings repressed Your Favorite Weapon in early 2003 on clear vinyl, limited to 300 copies."
zac
Black is the third Press out of 1,000. I'm pretty sure that is right.
timwt
Most common. Pretty sure it was just the fifth record Iodine pressed.
mattisr1984
#5 is just the catalog number for the release.
rtw88
Black is the most common /1000. I've never heard of this being hand numbered, but I don't own a copy so I don't know. But I would assume that it was Iodine records fifth release. Edit: looks like I was late to the party.

rtw88
I have seen 'hand numbered' records done by machine, but it certainly looks nothing like that.

Hopefully your love of vinyl will take you to better music.
