markage
I was hanging out with my friend last night, who is a guitar salesman at Sam Ash Music in Margate. During our conversation last night, he tells me that he happened to help Chris Carrabba while he was in the store last week. I used to work there as well and it wasn't uncommon for Chris to come into the store while he was in town. Anyway, the two get into a conversation and the topic of Further Seems Forever gets brought up, in which Chris tells my friend that he is reuniting with them for an album and a tour in the very near future. I thought it was pretty cool news.

AlexH.
Well if Chris has no problem with his time in FSF, what put the kibosh on the Moon is Down repress? Regardless, this is good news.

I thought it was pretty cool news. I share the same belief. My friend told me he said that he thought FSF was too good of a band to just go down the way it did and so he's been talking to the guys and setting up a reunion. He also told my friend that he's moving back to South Florida for a while. It's possible, we'll see what happens.

scotterson
i actually love all of FSF's albums, but i thought chris's songwriting went downhill fast after, say, swiss army romance. i would be weary of a new album, but i would definitely go see them. rtw88
I would be lying if I pretended like I was too cool for the second and third Dashboard albums. Everything after that is pretty unlistenable to me though.

A repress of the Moon is Down was planned, but cancelled due to "factors beyond control". I assumed Carrabba was the factor.

markage
Does your friend usually tell extravagant lies? Not at all, He's been a good friend of mine for about three years. I've never known of him to lie about anything. Take it for what it's worth, though. He's a huge fan of his. I on the other hand think The Moon is Down is the only thing he's done that has stuck with me through the years. I'm not a Dashboard fan by any means. I don't think a new album is realistic. I'd be down for a South Florida reunion show though.
cactusbot
I have heard nothing of either a new album or a tour. I talked to Chad a couple weeks ago. Probably just wishful thinking. Maybe one reunion, but absolutely not an entire tour.
