But, if for chance this whole thing IS true: Man up, bro. If you were that conflicted and/or sensitive about it, why on earth did you serve it up to the forum goons? What were you expecting? And put it in perspective: both were willing parties who profited from the exchange. What's the problem? Social stigma? Please. I'd feel more sorry for the porn stars whose services are largely for the profit of others. They see minute fractions of the revenue generated by their acts, yet this is more acceptable than a person to person exchange where the provider reaps 100% of the profit, presumably? I don't think "craigslist whores" have pimps to consider, or maybe I'm just out of touch that way. Further, what of that "Guess Her Muff" thread or the "VC Noodz" thread? How is that not more despicable? These ladies were completely exploited, presumably saw nothing in return, and potentially had their reputations/careers/lives ruined. Yet we all have a good chuckle about it, bless the internet, and go about our days. So you fucked a hooker. Big deal. You're not a loser. Im talking about the ones that you look back at and wish you didnt waste your time trying to make things work out. Im not saying this about all my ex's as im very close with most of them and my current girlfriend of two years is the first girl ive ever met that ive wanted to marry. danthemjfan23 Posted April 23, 2009 Share Posted April 23, 2009 i agree with that, i think i just took umbrage with you saying all guys pay for sex. in essence, i guess you're right, i'm just saying that's not the way i look at it. i'm paying for all the other little things about her that i love, and if i love her that much anyway, i'm not even noticing all the money because it's something i WANT to do. when your pet dies, you don't think back and say "goddamn, i shouldn't have bought so many fucking chew toys" because the times you had with it were so great. yeah, it shit on your carpet a few dozen times and woke you up at 5 am for no reason a few times, but overall you loved it, and the money you have to spend on it is just part of the deal.
