rocknroll76
4. Johnny Cash - Bridge Over Troubled Water - I grew up on Johnny Cash because my grandparents were really into him. His stuff never gets old. I love this version. He sounds so deeply sincere and Fiona's harmony works perfectly.

riddle350
Frank turner-Reasons Not To Be An Idiot. Song made me want to enjoy my life more. Saves The Day-Radio. One of the better songs on Under The Boards. Give Up The Ghost-No Lotion Could Unclog These Pores. To this day I'm suprised how few people truly love this album. I think it blows away Background Music Less Than Jake-Faction. Borders & Boundries was one of my favorite albums in high school. Still is. Saves The Day-Jodie. Best song on Can't Slow Down. Mxpx-Breathe Deep. Songs only ok but this band is one of the early bands that really had an impact on my life Anti-Flag-Bright Lights Of America. One of the better songs from a not so great album Alkaline Trio-Cop. classic album Lifetime-Airport Monday Morning. Love this album so much. The Starting Line-Bedroom Talk. Also known as the do you in the butt song.
heavyheavylowlow
Manchester Orchestra - Goodbye To The Liars - Probably the best song on 5 Stories till Andy re-did La-Di-Da and Girl With Broken Wings for Nobody Sings Anymore The Color Of Violence - Youthnize - I don't care how scene listening to Travis and Derek makes me, this album is damn tight for 2 guys just having fun with some crazy shit. I wish From First To Last would do more 'Kiss Me, I'm Contagious' type stuff (Yes, I love FFTL). Also, they take the piss out of bands you can't understand the lyrcs of, hilarity ensues; "You werent invited to the gun fight, it's a waste of time, so if you wanna stay home posting comments on pictures on Facebook that's fine, but if you've got a gun and a couple of friends we can euthanize!" HAHAHA Modest Mouse - March Into The Sea - Joint best song (with Spitting Venom) on a very dissapointing album Man Man - Big Trouble - These guys, these guys.... holy shit they never fuck up Dillinger Escape Plan - Nong Eye Gong - I Less Than 3 DEP!!! Against Me - Beginning In An Ending - Hey Tom! Remember when you wrote good, effecting lyrics? I reallt think you need to Stop and take some time to think before the next album The Hold Steady - Positive Jam - I love how the first song from their first full lenght is just awesome, and basically them saying "Hi, we're the Hold Steady and we're gonna be making music like this for ages" O Pioneers - You Know That Part In Superman III, Where He Is All Badass And Stuff, Yeah? I Bet That's How You Feel Right Now - FUCKING AWESOME, I WANT THE GHOST TATTOOED ON MY ARMS! Animal Collective - Brothersport - Yeah, really don't get the big deal about Animal Collective Crystal Castles - Alice Practice - Erm, don't fuck an indie chick I guess is thelesson learned from this

salaho
1. R.E.M - Sad Professor (From Up) - I love R.E.M, but this is neither the best song on the LP, or their best LP 2. The Ergs - blahblahblah, fuckyou, blahblahblah (off V/a Right To Assemble Vol.2) I miss The Ergs already!!! 3. Lunachicks - I'll Be The One (From Luxury Problem LP) I loved all those bands like L7, Hole, Frightwig, Babes In Toyland 4. Pulp - Something Changed (From Different Class LP) Saw Jarvis at a Denim gig at the 100 Club in London, god he's tall!!! 5. The Field Mice - End Of The Affair (From Where'd you learn to kiss that way, compilation) - They wrote the saddest songs, and were my only friends through a very bad break-up with a girl, I still can cry just listening to them 6. The Methodones - Annie (From Not Economically Viable) my eldest daughters best friend is called Annie 7. Rise Against - Everchanging (From Rock Against Floyd promo CD) Fairly typical sounding Fat Wreck band 8. The Only Ones - Your Chosen Life (B-Side) How they aren't the biggest band in the world is beyond me! 9. The Breeders - No Way (From Mountain Battles) They certainly don't release enough records 10. Glass Candy - Etheric Device (From B/E/A/T/B/O/X) Probably the only "Dance" act that I like, but much preferred the early stuff

The Queers - Kicked Out Of The Wevelos (Live). Fucking classic, that's why. 5. Faith No More - Epic. The title says it all. 6. The Beatles - The Coninuing Story Of Bungalow Bill. "All the children sing!!!" 7. Big D & The Kids Table - Breaking The Bottle. SKAAAAAAAAA! 8. Descendents - Cameage (Live). From Hallraker, my favorite Descendents LP. Milo's vocals show a lot of emotion on this take. 9. Nas - Hate Me Now. Yeah, Nas wasn't all that great at this point in his career, but this jam is fucking intense. 10. The Loved Ones - Candy Cane (demo). From the band's 2004 demo.
