xlovecolouredx
agree with you for poldi's from alex. i think 4-4-2 is what suit for liverpool more than what rodgers did today. stevie is not the same old one after longtime injury.... jonnyh85
So happy with that win. Arteta was amazing, Diaby bossed it, Podolski and Cazorla played really well too. Liverpool weren't that bad, we were just great at the back, Sterling looked quality and Joe Allen did too but for £15m? Please, we got a world cup winner, a hugely experienced german international and the french league's top scorer for less (individually), Liverpool's buying has been shocking! Diaby was so reminiscent of Pat Vieira in his pomp it was outrageous. Both he and Arteta just dominated the midfield. One of the best performances as a team I've seen from us in a good few years and finally things are looking up! Great noise in the away end too, even the Mrs seemed to enjoy herself! xlovecolouredx
i shall dislike when the gunners sing 'hey jude' but i think it's funny and so ironic. it's charm of english football league which i wanna know more and deeper.... Dude, you at Southampton on sat next week? I'm flying in from LA - landing at midday, hoping to make it to my seat for as much of the game as possible! partysmasher
Love the Arsenal game yesterday. Got back from two weeks in California at 1.30pm, straight in a cab to the stadium after dropping my now fiancee (got engaged on holiday) off at home and got to my seat just as Le Coq won the fk that Podolski put away. Nice welcome back to London i reckon!
chefchino
Will anyone care in 2013? Probably not. Very interesting weekend in futbol none the less. Oh hey nice goal Pedro!
partysmasher
Still caring here. Pedro's goal was nice, amazing pass from Busquets but it wasn't as good as GIbbs' goal for Arsenal earler.

He just happened to score when I typed that, i prefered messi's goal a bit more. ill have to the see that arsenal goal, tho the goal of the weekend definately goes to Suarezs winner for Liverpool, sketchy
chefchino
So hard to keep up with the ballon d'or without any translation the the French and portuguese. FIFA pro world is all fcb and Madrid except for falcao but not a surprise, are there no English players there?
uglyorganist
Somewhat surprised to see Alves and Marcelo. Think Ashley Cole, Philip Lahm, and maybe some on smaller clubs, deserve a spot more. Thought maybe Mats Hummels would get some credit, since he was the center of a double winning Dortmund side. And Pirlo on an unbeaten Juventus and carrying Italy to the finals. Yaya Toure And Ribery and Van Persie have been in ridiculous form this past year. Not really a big deal though. Good players.
vialister
Surprised no one has made a comment about Hazard kicking the Swansea ball boy yet! IMO the ball boy deserved it. Also, he is apparently 17? who the fuck is still a ball boy at 17?!
chefchino
I was going to post a gif of it and totally forgot bc so many ppl could care less. But I'm with you dude, he was trying to waste time on an important game and hazard to me made contact with the ball when he kicked. If he gets a ban, so should the kid if he hasn't already. partysmasher
Another classy Chelsea player! Who cares if the kid was wasting time? Hazard gets paid 150k a week to take shit like that and stay professional. Hazard will get a massive ban. HAHAHAHAHA!

partysmasher
NACHOOOOO!!!! Also, Barca will surely go through in the Copa, i hope so at least because i can't stand Madrid. The only vaguely redeeming feature of that team is Xabi Alonso, the rest are horrible, sulky little prima donnas.
qwrm38
Oh and villa, xavi, and th rest of that crew aren't?
chefchino
Nope, alves delt with racial slurs, messi (and everyone who attacked) was harassed by dirty fouls all game while Ronaldo whined and whined. Should be a great game at camp nou
partysmasher
Oh and villa, xavi, and th rest of that crew aren't? Really? Busquets has had his moments i'll give you that but Pepe and Ronaldo have enough diva in them for the entire league.

partysmasher
Funniest thing about the match fixing is Liverpool playing against a team with a keeper who'd been paid to let in three or more goals them still not managing to score more than one.
