daniel
I would ask for my record back dude. Maybe it's just the picture but it looks like some of the vinyl is literally missing. Sorry, that must really suck

Just Another Tom
That's terrible dude, i had a postman fold a RATM 7" in half to fit through my letter box once, and it still wasn't as damaged as that, the label held it together! headtowall
first record i ever bought on ebay ever came fucked up, sent it back never got another copy . never forget
funsize
definitely the PO's fault. You got screwed, but asking for your trade back wouldn't really be fair to the other dude since he'd be out the same. Glue it back together and find another copy to play! Or make some art out of it. mrc
yeah, it sucks cause i dont think i could demand another record or mine back. its not fair. I mean when i ordered a record from virgil and it got lost i didnt demand him to send me a new one, i just bought it again. then again i sent a LP once and a chip broke off the edge but it was still playable and the dude still wanted 1/2 his money back. Tough spot.

geezfools
It's shit like this that makes you wanna pay for insurance and all that jazz, but how many records do you think you've shipped and received? Not even worth it over time with the ratio of good ships to bad ships. I dunno, really "tough break" on something that's somewhat of a variant/cool record
Just Another Tom
I would complain to the post office, and try and claim some cash back. At the end of the day it wasn't so much accidental damage as much as complete negligence/incompetence. I mean it takes effort to fuck up a record that bad! FuzzRecords
What is the standard trade etiquette for something like this?Dude i traded with is from here and a solid dude. Im super bummed. Unless he didn't package it well, its really not his fault. Someone in the Post Office's distribution center was having a shit day and took it out on your record. Good luck sorting it out and I'm very sorry for your loss.
