deafmx
Nirvana Deftones Far Glassjaw Nine Inch Nails/Marilyn Manson it's a toss up between Marilyn Manson and NIN. both had groundbreaking, influential, amazing albums....but kind of let themselves go at some point and have some stinkers too. both put a dent in me though, both can share the spotlight a little. There is no right or wrong list...well, technically they are all "wrong" since everyone has their own opinion. That said, I am digging the variety among people's choices. jimmythescumbag
I just thought this and figured it would be worth noting... When I put a band like Minor Threat is in my top 5, I am thinking them, and the bands that they led to, directly or indirectly, otherwise I could do a top five like this: 1 - The Teen Idles 2 - Minor Threat 3 - Embrace 4 - Fugazi 5 - The Evens By this "logic", The Ramones lead to SW...OpIvy to Rancid...etc. Either way, choosing 5 is tough business.[/rambling]
