My Dad's dog is getting bad and they dont expect him to last much longer. I dont know how my dad is going to handle it, Its like his best friend, and has been going to work with my dad a few days a week for the last 13 years. I had to put one of my dogs (she was 13) down just a few days before my birthday last year. It felt like it was going to be impossible to deal with. I was miserable for the few days leading up to it, but I was really surprised that within a couple days afterwards I felt relieved knowing I had done the right thing. I knew I had treated her well and gave her a good life. Just remember that you'll feel better in time and that you're doing the right thing. Take care. He was only 6 so it was pretty shocking. I'm going to have a beer right now for him and all our other furry friends we lost this year. Here's to you fur ball.
