benchwarmer
Who do you guys use? I have a family plan with cingular AT&T, and lately the customer service has been horrible. I'm getting really sick of it, and all the dropped calls (even though they say they have the least). I might just pay the fee and switch. Recomendations? xfedaykinx
i use verizon and have never had a problem. i just hate not having a SIM card in my phone.
lechevre
i use verizon and have never had a problem. i just hate not having a SIM card in my phone. Agreed! But i never really used my SIM to switch to other phones, so it's moot. I switched from att/cingular/att and love verizon! I kind of thought it was funny because I had my service with them for about 6 years and didn't care that I wasn't renewing. So far Verizon has my vote. They're pretty nice and I'm getting a better deal by about $10 then I was with Cingular and have more options in my plan.
faith
i use sprint and its a piece of shit the only thing that rocks is that all my roomates have at&t and they have no signal in the house. I have full signal here
robotnerd
i had sprint and it was totally shitty. i've been using tmobile for years without any real problems.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
verizon wireless, fuck the rest.
kirbypuckett
I have Sprint, I love it. I'm a Sprint "employee" so my bill is only $15 a month with unlimited text messages and Internet. The Internet speeds are fantastic -- I surf quite a bit on my Moto Q. If I wasn't an employee with such a great deal I'd probably still use Sprint. mrc
had at&t a few years ago and they were the worst. dropped calls all the time, i wouldnt get service in my house and crappy customer service. i have been with tmoile for the last 3 years and i have not had a problem yet. they are very good. akross
I have always been on AT&T/Cingular/AT&T and I have never had an issue with signal or customer service. There is only one spot that I lose all signal, and it seems that every time I pass through that area, I am on the phone...
faith
for canadians: i used bell for like 2 years and fido for over a year and here's what I have learnt 1. bell sucks. never go with them, E-V-E-R. 2. fido has good coverage and i guess OK prices, but the customer service sucks more and more each month. and its impossible to get a customer service employee without a giant impossible to understand accent from whatever country. seriously
sgoodcore
From what I can tell Verizon is widely known for having the best coverage and the worst phones. I've had them for a while and have used a treo along with regular handsets and have been happy with them. From what I hear from others not sure I'm nearly as picky. I don't really care about games or ringtones or the like. I just want a phone that makes calls, not one that can't dance a jig.
seanpowers
i have had tmobile for about 2 years and like them. no huge problems but i sell cell phones and would have to say verizon is the best. they care the most with customer service and have great coverage. im switching to them very shortly
adamlikesmusic
Alltel. Is pretty good. My phone broke a little bit after a year since I got it, but they were nice and gave me a new phone for free instead of charging me. (They have a 1 year warranty)

sgoodcore
i believe alltel rents their network from another carrier? I'm pretty sure T-Mobile rents their network from AT&T so as far as coverage goes T-Mobile will never be any better than AT&T.
monk0nuggets
I use Verizon and it is awesome because everyone I talk to also has Verizon so all of my calls are free. I don't really use my phone for anything else but talking though so I couldn't tell you anything about how the texting service or online services are. benchwarmer
I barely talk on my phone. I probably play tetris on it more than I talk on it. thanks for all the advice!
corbet
I'm on Sprint and I LOVE it. I've been using them for 4 years now. In all honesty, when my contract is up 1.5 years from now I will probably see if iPhone is on any other providers then AT&T. ANYWAYS, the most amazing thing about sprint is the SERO plan. 500 minutes, unlimited texts, unlimited pic sending, unlimitied internet, no roaming, 8 PM nights.... $30 a month!!! If you're interested in getting the plan check out Sprint.com/SERO. You'll have to message me for the employee e-mail because I really don't wanna give it out in public. mattisr1984
verizon... never really had any problems. ::knocks on wood::. im not really hip to the whole cell thing though and what other providers offer. i dont need a phone for anything other than to make a phone call. brady
I work for Sprint also, and I have to say, they really are something else. Especially if you have a family plan. You can get 1400 shared minutes, for 90 bucks a month. That includes no roaming, free Sprint to Sprint, and your nights and weekends start at 7. Sprint also has quite a few deals with companies, where you could get a big ass discount. For example, anyone who works at the hospital here, if they use Sprint, can get 20% off their bill each month.
corbet
^^Yep, I could have gotten 20% off if I wasn't doing SERO. Sprint has the best prices out of all the providers and their SERO rates spoil me.
scottheisel
Holy shit, that SERO thing looks insane. Please PM me your email address so I can take advantage of that!
