kurtz
The second half of season 14 has been lousy so far. The Nascar and Jersey Shore episodes were both pretty weak and this Coon 3-parter was not funny at all. I did like the Inception episode though. Hopefully they can come up with a good season finale. mclz
^This whole season was "eh" with a few good episodes here and there and some good parts in the not so good episodes, but the Inception episode was hilarious, probably one of the best episodes ever if you ask me and I am a die hard South Park fan since day 1. kittenmittons
the coon story arcs bore the shit out of me. i don't tend to like any of the "continuation" episodes. same goes for imagination land a couple seasons ago. this season has been flat as hell. mclz
This saga had goods parts but it wasn't hilarious every second. I really enjoyed the shrimp guy in the first one, when Cartman was singing George Michael in the one from last night, and just every time Cartman said "the Coooon" and when he says "Keeenny"
kurtz
I liked a lot of the ideas in the Coon trilogy... Cthulhu, Kenny as Mysterion, Kenny being immortal, Captain Hindsight... I just didn't think the episodes were very funny.

harryq
I loved every time cartman used the "lebron james method", but that might just be my contempt for lebron james...
hickey
That trilogy was all about Mintberry Crunch. He ruled.

harryq
other than thinking that this episode should have aired like 3 months ago, I liked it. the season started back up a little over 1 month ago so... yes, I'm aware of that, and I also think that south park shouldn't take a 5 month break in the middle of the season, but there's not much I can do about that. anyway... my point is that it's not as current as they've been in the past. SNL parodied the shake weight way back in april, so maybe I should fix my post to say "like 6 months ago" if nothing else, this could have been the mid-season premiere instead of the nascar episode, though by no means am I saying that that would have been a good season finale... jonnywreck
was the show last night a season finale? also...i would DEFINITELY watch a cooking show with randy. "mmmm...fuck yea...creme fraiche..."
smailtronic
was the show last night a season finale? Yes anyway... my point is that it's not as current as they've been in the past. The episode opened with the Carnival incident which just happened a few days ago.
kittenmittons
anyway... my point is that it's not as current as they've been in the past. SNL parodied the shake weight way back in april wait...people still watch SNL? and give a shit about their skits? i'm sure that parody wasn't nearly as funny as what south park came up with. heh.."came". jokes all day guise. kurtz
I don't know... this episode just didn't do it for me. Randy episodes are usually my favorites too. It seemed like it was just the same two jokes milked out for the entire episode. Funny at first, but it got stale rather quickly.
lonesomexloveus
until they parodied snooki relatively recently, i honestly didn't know that south park was still a. on television in a new form and b. still being watched by people. 000000
not gonna lie, as a Food Network addict, i loved last night's episode. didn't seem really fitting as a season finale though.
