lokithelion
I'm working on a project that involves finding bands with influences from the 1992-2002 period of emo/punk/indie rock who aren't massive, but are growing. These are the ones I thought of off the top of my heads. Is there anyone else I should think about or look at? thedavidescapeplan
Everyone Everywhere.Empire! Empire! (I Was A Lonely Estate) I came back in here to post these but you beat me to it! Yet another reason why you're awesome. I'll also say Victor Fix the Sun as they have some of that in them. Also, Community College who are an instrumental band that kind of has screamo overtones. dangerdave
Grown Ups Has anyone heard any news from these guys lately? Balance and Composure just tweeted this and I'm super bummed if it means that they're done. http://twitter.com/BalanceandComp/status/18619668118
thedavidescapeplan
Fuck! That's a bummer if it's true. I saw one of their first shows, before Songs was even released and was blown away. It would be a shame if they've already called it a day.
wakeupandlive
Grown Ups Has anyone heard any news from these guys lately? Balance and Composure just tweeted this and I'm super bummed if it means that they're done. http://twitter.com/BalanceandComp/status/18619668118 Fuck, i hope not. They're playing here in like 2 weeks and I was looking forward to seeing them.
jcamps
yeah that would be fucking terrible, the tour they're on right now is so stacked. speaking of that, i bet you'd like my heart to joy. also: ps eliot, kidcrash, native, summer vacation, half hearted hero, who calls so loud
dangerdave
the only other thing i can think of is that they were saying that Grown Ups rip, which would be a true statement, but it's hard to tell from that.
