enjoytheride Posted September 28, 2010 Share Posted September 28, 2010 Hey everyone, I am looking into licensing some major label stuff for vinyl re-release, I have been able to get in touch with all the majors except sony who handles both columbia and epic. I got the music licensing dept number from their receptionist but no one ever picks up and i left 2 or 3 messages over the last month with no response. Figured i would ask around on here and see if anyone has had any luck with contacting them and if there was a direct email address or something I could get some more info from. Thanks for your time everyone, hope to hear back soon. If someone can help me out then ill throw you a vinyl down the road if all works out. Im focusing on putting out four drive thru releases in the next year and then working on putting out some major label stuff. I remember Rob Hitt posting about that. yea but it wasnt a bootleg, i am doing 4 other dtr releases and midtown was going to happen and then richard gave me permission for a test pressing then backed out when he heard the test press and decided he wanted to do it himself, although personally i dont he will and ill end up doing it in a year after i do the rest but time will tell.
