Jeff's vocals were super low in the mix, but even worse, they only played four songs before blowing an amp and then quit. He did say they had copies of the Rescue for sale, though. Vinyl Fury Posted November 5, 2010 Share Posted November 5, 2010 Listening to side B now. Sounds pretty good. I think the unique production of this album translates better to vinyl. Sounds better than the CD to me. It was pretty weak that there was no extra padding in the package, especially sending via Media Mail. And since it's not shrink wrapped, it would've been nice to put it in a plastic sleeve as well. But, at least the record was fine. The autographed cover is definitely nice. deafmx Posted November 5, 2010 Share Posted November 5, 2010 I think the autographed cover is kinda tacky, considering how dinged up it got being mailed with no protection. if you're feeling ripped off, you kinda were. regular weight black vinyl, basic jacket, white paper sleeve, no insert or download code. hand-numbered though! omg! $20 plus the $6 shipping was kind of a joke for this especially in the thin mailer with $2.38 postage on it. the most important part is the record sounds great. thankfully.
