googlemyass
Was released today. Verdicts?
Guest markovianprocess
I like it, but I'm not a Radiohead fan. If that makes sense.
dreamover
I've only seen this. Very Eraser-y. I dig.
drabley
Into it. Over it.
googlemyass
It look that long drab? I'm impressed.
drabley
I meant Radiohead in general. Should have been more specific. Kid A on repeat for a year burnt me out.
kidamnesiac
I think it's ace. I, however, am, admittedly, a Radiohead fanboy.
googlemyass
I think it gets better with every listen, for sure.
mutinyzine
I've only seen this. Very Eraser-y. I dig. I think this was kinda cool
birdwell
sounds like Eraser part II...I'm more interested in how they'll pull this album off live...as a band, not just a backing track and Thom
cesar11
I agree with you, birdwell. In my opinion, tracks 1-4 sound like the Eraser pt 2. But tracks 5-8 are more like Radiohead. And godDAMN "Give Up The Ghost" is so fucking good. I remember hearing it live and liking it but the studio version is fantastic.
casey
I like it better than In Rainbows...Can't wait to have it on clear 2x10".

Guest
I'm diggin it a lot.. Can't wait to find out more about the Newspaper album now.
casey
I would love if someone had any idea what the fuck constitutes an "Newspaper Album". Is it a statement on physical music media going the way of physical news media or is it actually made from newspaper or shaped like a newspaper or is someone going to ride by on a bike and throw it at my front door? I hope it's not the latter because the USPS is bad enough.
kidamnesiac
Part of the fun of the "Newspaper Album" is that no one (outside Radiohead) knows what it is. Until it shows up in our mailbox or the band decides to grace us with more details, we won't know. Same thing happened with the In Rainbows discbox. There was a list of what was in it, but no one really knew until it was mailed out. It's the mystery that makes following this band enjoyable. Rest assured the quality will be high. Every special edition Radiohead album I have is gorgeous.
casey
Yeah, but Discbox brings to mind a pretty short list of possible interpretations. It's not like it was called "World's First Ice Cream Record"
troymess
This album is fantastic. Already listened through 3 times. The last 3 tracks flow so well together. Can't wait for my package to arrive
