circlingvultures
The fact that this is all just live for everyone to watch is such a weird feeling. My thoughts go to everyone affected. Seems like if anyone is going to handle such a situation, it's Japan.

donlombardo
this is scary. I truly hope and wish that as few people as possible are being killed or hurt by this, but there ought to be a lot of people going that way... Why do the cars keep driving on that bridge? Is it the only way out of there?

xfedaykinx
My roommate was on the bullet train going from Osaka to Tokyo when the earthquake hit. The train lost power inside a mountain and they were stuck for about 45 min. I can't imagine what that shit is like.
travis
This thing is insane, the pictures and videos I saw this morning are horrible. The news people here in CA need to relax tho, we're not gonne get washed away. They are putting out tsunami warnings for 1-3 ft. waves and further up north they have possibly 7 ft. waves. Big deal, they have bigger waves than that during a winter storm. A bit excessive to close down every beach on the west coast.
