cactusbot
Not sure why people order vinyl from places that obviously don't care about it. There are so many distros and sites that specialize in carrying vinyl. Was the $2.50 you saved by ordering from this discount site worth it? manicdogbert
this isn't the first time i heard horror stories about CDWow. that sucks. i got my copy of the White Light reissue at a local shop. i got it for $16 because it had a split seam on the top. but the vinyl was mint and sounded fine. psychoriley
I have the 1st press already but wanted the 180g. CDwow has been nothing but a headache...with 1st one getting lost. I went over the 45 day paypal claim window by a week....called paypal and they refunded my money anyways. THEN they sent out this broken replacement. So no money lost. Still emailed them with a pic....I'll see what they say. Either way no loss of mine
derkwithano
two pieces of cardboard is good, unless it's thin cardboard. Nothing's worse than bubble mailers....

hipsterasfolk
PS have you ordered from Amazon recently, they mail their Vinyl in..... A) This professional looking Cardboard mailer inside a big box B)Big box w/ the LP wrapped on a huge cardboard cut out. Weird but it ships in 2 days
kjkenney
^^ that. I got a couple records from Amazon today and saw a big box on my doorstep; when I looked inside there was a nice sturdy LP mailer fitted perfectly within the bigger box and a giant rubberband to keep them together while mailing. For newer releases on vinyl, Amazon is the shit. I'm always super wary to order from companies with no credibility. Saving a couple bucks is not worth it if you don't know how they do business. AND if you wait and order a couple releases at a time you can get the free shipping through UPS.
psychoriley
They emailed me back and said they're sending out a replacement....this will be attempt #3! 1st one "lost" in the mail, 2nd, broken, 3rd??? I won't order again.
