I don't think the songs are bad, but the production was so bad its unlistenable. They need to remix and remaster it like they did with Banner Pilot's Resignation Day. I'm going to suggest a different color, not based on color scheme of the jacket. Since he's lighting a firework on the cover it would be cool if the record was on smoke grey, red, and yellow splatter (smoke grey being the base color) to emulate an explosion.
