Daiei
http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl....s spagename=VIP:feedback&ftab=FeedbackAsSeller Look how many they've sold. Is there a way they could be pressing this and not telling anyone? They've sold at least $15,000 worth.
justin834
Wow that is crazy! They are making some serious money on them however it is they are doing it..

Guest
Why does this come up so often? Who cares what they do. They paid for the license, they can do what they want. Obviously it's pretty exploitive of them to do, but there is nothing anyone can do.
One Hundred Fifty-Two
Why does this come up so often? Who cares what they do. They paid for the license, they can do what they want. Obviously it's pretty exploitive of them to do, but there is nothing anyone can do. I've been told that a lot of licensing agreements dictate an exact number to be pressed for example 1,000. If they were to repress it they may have to get a new/updated licensing agreement. So they could be doing something very wrong.
daniel
If these are represses... lol.

We have no proof this is a repess, or if they ever exceeded their allowed number (if there ever was one).
kidamnesiac
Wow. They had over 100 of these just "lying around?" I agree something seems fishy here.
bobert612
well until someone can gather all the owners of it in one place and count heads, we will have no idea if the number of owners matches the number that were suppose to be pressed. A Brand New - You're Favorite Weapon census is the only way.
stopthisnoise
Wouldn't be surprised if there was a repress. Kind of pissed the label doesn't sell this at retail price
thewmatic
when you look at the feedback and see the dozens of them they sold over the past year its crazy
rubbercity
the guy claims that they "found several hundred in storage at the pressing plant"...the plot thickens

daniel
Maybe that's why they were so rare before they started selling these copies. Still. $150 is crazy.
twentytwo
wow that's shitty Unregulated free market capitalism in most cases is pretty shitty. It is a crying shame that a label would charge $150 for this record. If they were half-decent people they would sell these for a reasonable amount say even $25 but that is not the case unfortunately. I will wait till one day when there is a repress, until then I will take my $150 dollars somewhere else. Some place where I can get say like 10 records or so for $150 instead of one. spoonbill
if these are really old copies and people are buying them for $150, thats fine. if this is a repress and these people aren't being up front about it, that's messed up.
ryanmccauley38
That sucks that they are contributing to the insane costs for these, but then again, kudos for pulling in that much off of one album.
genuma
either way, a label selling them for $150 buy it now is fucked up. i don't care if they have licensing rights, found old ones, or repressed it secretly. doesn't change the shadiness. Guest
If dumbass people would stop paying so much, then the price would drop.
chutterhanban
either way, a label selling them for $150 buy it now is fucked up. i don't care if they have licensing rights, found old ones, or repressed it secretly. doesn't change the shadiness. now that's the cold, hard truth

diabretic
This is pretty fucked up. they had to have done a repress. you don't just "find" this many of anything. And wouldn't they have said something when these were first released if they were missing that many? come on.
tylerrr
People really like Brand New? Wow. LOL +1!!! No make it 2!
cloud87
I wonder if they actually pressed more than 1000 originally but kept them aside as they only were licensed to press 1000. I don't think it's likely they secretly repressed this as I'm sure someone would find out by now or have looked into it. Seems like it'd be easier to hide an original overrun than an entire press. tylerrr
Why don't we just do a full on investigation on this. Find out who does their pressings and what not. Just get to the bottom of this, bitches.
