kriss
In terms of kraut, I'm assuming you've already gotten into Can, Faust and such, correct? Psych wise, Les Rallizes Denudes is a Japanese band who take the White Light era drone of The Velvets and elongate it for hours - Plastic Crimewave Sound are a band from Chicago and mine similar territory nowadays. I would also recommend the These Shocking, Shaking Days 3xLP comp on The Stones Throw label - it's loaded down with a ton of great 60's Indonesian psych which should be righgt what you're after! steventangent
There's this one song I've been trying to remember forever, I hope it turns up here. It's got a real weird band name and title, and they only put out one record, and disappeared completely, and NONE of those criteria are going to be of much help when you're talking about 60s psychedelia. There's a ton of Detroit stuff, and a few things I like...gotta suggest something from my backyard!

steventangent
Everyone already pretty knows the MC5, the Amboy Dukes, and the Stooges (crossing into "acid rock" proto-punk territory. But how about The Rationals, who are also kind of at the same cross section of psychedelic rock and R&B...not sure if this is what you're after, exactly, but I dig the shit out of it. Another band involved with John Sinclair...kind of similar to the MC5, but even more of the proto-punk vibe. This is real deep Detroit shit. Again...not entirely sure if this is exactly what you want, Yu, but I dig it! This stuff is a little to the left of just psychedelic rock, because they were the blue collar Detroit bands that influenced a lot of early punk rock. They were the same scene as the MC5 and the Stooges, but where those bands went on to achieve notoriety, these ones were just kind of forgotten. Still great, though! birdwell
not sure if they completely fit the bill, but The Fugs had a some pseudo-psychedelic stuff in the 60's
rocknroll76
Yu, Based on that youtube clip you posted, I would say that sounds very similar to Love. Most famous album from them is Forever Changes. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BSUoYHEJCGI&hl=en&fs=1 Also try...Vanilla Fudge, Traffic, Seeds, Sonics, these are all pretty well known but may have been overlooked! somethingvinyl
If you like blues at all, Muddy Waters covered his own songs on an album called "Electric Mud" in 1968 and turned these classic tunes into a psychedelic wonder: ... This obscure Ohio band called The Alarm Clocks recorded one 45 in the mid-60's and the song never died. Norton released an LP with most of their stuff and it's very good garage rock:

It hasn't been noted yet, but they are the only band EVER that I am aware of that uses an electric jug player. Watch this video.
