dude. Mercy was totally worth pressing, i would definitely buy anything pressed though. i'm still shocked i saw Ours open for Marilyn Manson for that album. i'd like to re-see that show so i actually knew more of the songs.

The Heart is actually really good. he just released a full band version i have yet to hear, it's not on vinyl. i think it's only a digital release. i got The Heart finally when i was in Austin. it was always around $25 so i put it off for so long. nice 2xLP gatefold, thick slabs of 180 gram black vinyl.

I'm sure I will! I like bands I haven't heard of ;) I usually buy tons of records by label association only and don't even know what they sound like until I get them.

sounds like me in the 80's/90's. just went off a label name or if someone in the band was in another band i liked. weird how things work that way still.. you know with how the internet is and everything at your fingertips in seconds if you really need it.

(no idea how i ended up with 2 copies....)

unbelievable. i really feel like my present i sent doesn't match up to this one at all. REALLY overboard and really super appreciated. can't wait to play all the vinyl, and hopefully get some time to read the books soon too! very damn cool. thanks SO much Mike! :o

i'm a huge sticker whore, so having so many i've never had before is kinda cool. especially the This Is My Fist and Orange 9mm (one of my fav bands). :-* ;D

in the letter you said some local to TX, one local to MN and one to Portland. who is from where? i couldn't think of who was local here besides The Replacements. i didn't think Tragedy was. we do have a local band called Impaler, at first that's who i thought the 7" was. anyway, just curious.

Deafmx:

Impalers, Iron Age, Repercussions, World Burns to Death, Hatred Surge, and Society of Friends are from Austin. Tragedy and Hall and Oates are from Portland. The dvd's and books are just something i threw in. And the Replacements book is more kin to your local neck of the woods. Had to stick something from the twin cities in there. and the doug stanhope i was waiting to get rid of my extra copy and this seemed like the perfect time to unload it. If i had known you collected evil dead movies i would sent the 2dbl dvd copy of Army of Darkness. haha.
