srcvinyl
This is going to be available Nov 21 on blue vinyl. Should know very soon what it is limited to. You can see all the details here http://www.shopradiocast.com/products/Trampled-By-Turtles-%7B47%7D-Motion-City-Soundtrack-%252d-Wait-So-Long%7B47%7DDisappear-7%22.html
gutzonborglum
What?! This makes sense only because both groups are from MN. So glad to see Trampled By Turtles getting some more exposure. Absolutely fantastic group from Duluth. I'll definitely be getting this.
gutzonborglum
And MCS covering 'Wait So Long'. This is still mind boggling to me. And that it's on TBT's label. This may very well be the release that pushes Trampled to new heights. Anyone unfamiliar with them, go ahead and check out their entire discography. AlexH.
Is this going to be for sale anywhere else online, or maybe at shows? Not into ordering from this shit show.

thebear
Hmmm...wonder if Interpunk's is blue, too. I love that Interpunk doesn't charge until orders ship. I hate missing things because I didn't have enough cash in the three hours after something's announced.
gutzonborglum
So on SRC it's listed under Banjodad records, then on Interpunk, it's MCS's label. Are these going to be different colors? Is it a limited press of blue, and a normal press on black? What's the deal. I wasn't looking to spend any more money!

thomasj182
30 second clips of each song, the MCS cover sounds great! Never heard TBT but it's an interesting take on Disappear. I hope we get mp3 dl's with the 7! http://soundcloud.com/pupfresh/sets/motion-city-soundtrack/

I hope we get mp3 dl's with the 7!http://soundcloud.com/pupfresh/sets/motion-city-soundtrack/ You need to check Trampled By Turtles out. Amazing modern folk/bluegrass/speedgrass whatever. Every one of their five releases are simply great. Personally, I love the debut 'Songs From A Ghost Town' because that's when the era I was seeing them live the most, but again, they're all great. You can tell I'm an advocate for these guys. Duluth, MN FTW!
stokd
Each band definitely made each song their own, can't wait to get this. But back to the 7", I pre-ordered from SRC before they announced the blue one, does anyone know if some will be blue and some black?? Also (expecting to lose at least 1 karma for this), if you like Trampled by Turtles you may like Fire Next Time, check em out.
TFP
Justin and the band said tonight on their Q&A after the live show on USTREAM, that this split is the first in a series of 7's on their new label - Boombox Generation. I believe they said the series will be local Minneapolis bands along with some new 7's with new tracks from themselves. So I guess we will get some new MCS tracks on vinyl singles before the new full-length next Spring/Summer!
carrythezero
Just a heads up that the copy I got from Amazon was pressed on Clear Blue in case anyone was thinking about ordering from them
gutzonborglum
Just a heads up that the copy I got from Amazon was pressed on Clear Blue in case anyone was thinking about ordering from them So are all copies pressed on clear blue vinyl, then? All I've read anywhere is 'limited blue version', and nothing about a regular black press. Also, just how limited? 2,000? So many questions!
