llamason56
is it just me or does a day to remember sound a lot like a newer version of from autumn to ashes? i could get into them a little i think if they lost the screaming since it doesn't really sound all that great to me but i just feel like i've heard all what they have to offer before. kouka
wow interesting reads. unfortunately i too had not heard of a lot of the bands mentioned on pages 2 and 3. i started listening to music late around 15 or 16 and was listening to thursday and thrice. never knew about any of this with victory. I'm 35 and wrote Victory off a long time ago, so with the exception of knowing Integrity and Dead Guy (and maybe a couple others), I have no idea what the other bands sound like either. withengineheart
of course this is me just bitching but god damn does adtr suck ass. jesus christ they are they epitome of what sucks about music today perpetual recycled trash. i mean for fucks sake originality as a whole is gone (let alone they lack a single spark of it) but it seems that's the only way a band makes it anymore is too cash in late on the trend until masses catch on. truth. can't tell you how many times I've gotten stoked thinking I'm seeing ATDI in the sale thread.. but nah. ADTR. Ew.
kriss
^ well, looks like I know who my direct ATDI competition here is!
dustin415
I've always wondered in situations like this, what happens if the band breaks up? Say a band signs one of these ridiculous 6 album contracts, but end up falling out and breaking up after just 3 albums; what happens next? Are they fined a heavy penalty? is their contract put on permanent hold should they ever decide to reunite? If someone has the ins to know what normally happens, it'd be really appreciated. I'm quite curious.
