travis
Yea Korns new album that came out yesterday is a dubstep album. Each song is produced by a dubstep DJ. Skrillex did 3 tracks on the album.

almightyseancore
"We were dubstep before there was dubstep, tempos at 140 with half-time drums, huge bassed-out riffs. We used to bring out 120 subwoofers and line them across the whole front of the stage, 60 subs per side. We were all about the bass." - Jonathan Davis. Guest errolwest
i wonder if jonathan davis actually listens to his own music, like sits down, and really gives it some thought. id have to say no, he doesnt. because if he did, theres no way korn would still be a band. no way at all. One Hundred Fifty-Two
It seems like that song is more or less a remix not a cohesive collaboration.

BuzzersonKillwell
They make me ashamed for having dreadlocks. THAT's what did it? I kid, I kid... I'm no fan of any of this shit, but I do wonder why people single out this one dude to hate on. In every genre there are artists that are a terrible fucking representation of their respective styles. If you ignore them, they just might go away... If you really want to hate someone, hate these fuckers.

somethingvinyl
So Dubstep has been around 13-15 years and I just heard about it this year.

beneathbelow
korn is an awful music group, I cant stand their bass sound that god-awful "clicking" noise, bass is not meant to be trebly. I cant and never will like rap-rock or any sub genre of it. if you like this band you must be really young or really white trash and ignorant, and you probably have a pointy goatee and wear your hat backwards. when will this garbage ever go away? Pretty nice right? They are called Brokencyde, listen to one minute of one song and you'll be begging to hear Skrillex again.
deafmx
played this off Rhapsody at work and took nothing away from it. it's what you'd expect if you've heard the last few Korn albums. nothing new, nothing special. i then listened to Issues afterwards. what's up, 1999? One Hundred Fifty-Two
So Dubstep has been around 13-15 years and I just heard about it this year. Hasn't been is the states all that long and has been popular in the states for even less. Unless you are really into UK electronic music it was easy to miss. mcm1610
I love busting out some old Korn once in a while. They made some rockin' jams.

silentgods
First 3 Korn albums are good. after that. nu-metal Spinal Tap.
otto802
I think it would be fun to play dubstep if I could get the dubstep noise from my bass and a wah type pedal. I don't know if I would want to do it as my main musical outlet, but I think it would be a fun tone to mess with in an organic format. selfreliable
Are you surprised? It is korn, they have always sucked. Been writing the same song since 94. It was never a good song to begin with.
