It was originally slated because I got the green light and contract in November. Then some publishing rights changed. Now we are waiting to get the masters and artwork released to us. Something to do with the publishing rights switching hands, and EMI shooting Broken Circles down or something of the such. Here is to "music publishers" doing everything they can to NOT let the music get "published". goddammit. Broken Circles eluded to this in a recent interview, but I was hoping it didn't involve Zao. Sounds like Brent had a really cool die-cut idea for the packaging. They would get there money and we would get a label that knows how to do a proper vinyl release. As stated above I know BCR would do better than the wonderful smooth job T&N did with ACB vinyl?! Also this might be a whole nother thread, but what has happen to the music industry when a few super corporate labels hoard licensing and the neither the band OR label that released the album can license?
