Guest
Yeah, the design/layout is really crisp and easy-to-use. Excellent job, man.
sharkticon
Thank you, both! I've been trying to find a way to tie the tradelist/index into something visually compelling and interactive. Deadformat does this pretty well already, but I like to think I took it another step further.

jhulud
Brian's blog just kicked mine in the balls, pissed on it, and then took a big shit and left it on top of its carcass. Damn, that shit's awesome!

Guest
This looks pretty awesome. I think it's broken on IE though, could just be our out-dated version at work though.
sharkticon
This looks pretty awesome. I think it's broken on IE though, could just be our out-dated version at work though. Could you provide a screen shot of the error? Feel free to PM it to me or email it to me at [email protected] Thanks for the heads up. And I'm super happy to everyone is digging it. I'm working on an entry for the Alabama Shakes live 7" I just got in the mail. Look for it shortly.
Guest
Unfortunately they have print screen disabled at work. I think we are running IE1 though, so that is probably why it is broken. It looks great on Chrome though.

sharkticon
Unfortunately they have print screen disabled at work. I think we are running IE1 though, so that is probably why it is broken. It looks great on Chrome though. No worries. I'll look into it. Thank you again for mentioning it. I use Chrome, too, but actually prefer the look on Firefox. There's something about the way the index lines up in Firefox that just sits with me better. Eclipsical
Awesome site, Brian. Your record list looks cool as shit!
Guest
Not sure if you used IE to check it, but firefox used to have an extention to make it function like different versions of IE to check how sites looked in it. I'm not sure if it's still around, used it years ago when I was messing with web programming.

sharkticon
Working on a crude build of a light table for nice photos to show off clear/transparent records. Thoughts on these results?: The frame I'm using is perfectly circular, so some light leakage occurs. I might try to fix it with a piece of frost glass or something? I dunno. deafmx
goddamn. those lighted pictures are awesome. i can never get the shot i have in my head for those etchings and such, but this is pretty much exactly how i want my pictures to look. you might go as far as to find a way to plug the center hole to fix the slight blur around that light coming through. sharkticon
Thanks! Dan posted on my Facebook with a great idea: cutting out black matboard in the shape of 12", 10", & 7"s. Then there's no light leakage and it's a super cheap solution. I still need a decent solution for shooting opaque etchings though. Anyone found a good trick? SweetJerryWine
They look great, but the leakage is kind of annoying. Just grab photoshop (or something similar) and magnetic lasso it, then delete.
