rojo
A lot of country is good -- mostly old school country. Garth Brooks is awful. Serious musical garbage, with no merit. I am appalled. AP PAL LED Give me some Toby Keith, "the American way is to put boots in asses," etc. That's MERCAN. MER CAN CUN TRY

elgato48
I have no idea how to logically and or sarcastically respond to this. Chris Gaines has a soul patch. I've never even seen a picture of him and Garth Brooks at the same event. Ever! +

jds17j
The best thing Garth Brooks ever did was get Chris Ledoux some recognition.
brosgetstoked
I love listening to Garth Brooks but I get serious flak for it in my house (however deservedly that may be). I was going to start a topic one time about where a good place to buy early 90's country records would be but I figured no one on here would be interested. It's good to see I'm not alone. The first 12 years of life I listened to Country almost exclusively growing up in a very rural area and I have some fond nostalgic memories of those times. gutzonborglum
And then there was this. . . The only thing that would make it perfect is if Jesus walked on stage and picked up a guitar. . .
ac3ebemo
My personal favorite Garth moment: http://www.break.com/usercontent/2007/10/Will-Ferrell-writes-a-song-for-garth-brooks-384390 On a side note, the misses loves Garth Brooks so I've sort of adopted a taste for him from her. diabretic
If I ever listen to the radio instead of my iPod in the car, it's the country station for sure. I don't like it all, but it's mostly tolerable.
