beardacus
After fives years of nothing we finally have a name and and release date for their new forthcoming record; Lex Hives on June 5th. I'm pretty excited to say the least. I've always liked the style and attitude this band had to offer. Their new single "Go Right Ahead" is streaming on Rolling Stone's site now. http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/exclusive-stream-the-hives-return-with-go-right-ahead-20120312

igotchills
when the horns come in, it sounds like a RFTC song. it rules.
donlombardo
From my hometown, been into them for so long, still can get into it. Though, in these 5 years, they've done a 7" right?

chiefwahoo
I was wondering about that. I didn't think it would be but can't say I am disappointed. Have you heard it? Is it awesome?
nickj
Album isnt really up to Hives standards. Lots of slower, less catchy songs. 1000 Answers is definitely the best of the bunch.

romanos27
Still waiting for my copy of this. I hate when you pre-order an album and they don't bother to ship it so you have it by the release date. Or even close. Been out a week already and nothing. Lame. On the other hand, I received all 3 versions of the new Bouncing Souls record (from three different sources) before the release date. Good job Souls/Chunksaah/Rise.
