bizarospeak
Hey everyone, So I'm taking a road trip with the old man in a couple of weeks to catch some Yankee games in Cleveland and Chicago. I was wondering if anyone can give me some inside info and what to do there? Yes, I know google exists, but I would like hear from those of you who work/live/frequently travel there. I'm looking for the usual, restaurants, bars, attractions, and of course record stores! Thanks in advance!

Where is that exactly my boss keeps telling me about it. ** Found it on Google, is it worth driving from Beachwood to check out?
dominic252
Where is that exactly my boss keeps telling me about it. ** Found it on Google, is it worth driving from Beachwood to check out? It's pretty good. I live in Mentor so I'm there a lot. They've had some pretty good stuff as of recently, but they seem to be a little overpriced. Or are you just going to hang out? I love walking around there.
dominic252
We're getting off topic now haha. I can vouch for Melt, Music Saves, and My Mind's Eye. All awesome places. If you can get to a Quaker Steak and Lube, do it. Awesome wings. Chicago, I like Lou Malnati's or Giordano's for pizza. Haven't spent any time in Chicago after I started collecting (at least serious collecting) so I don't have any record store recommendations. One of my clients wanted to hang out before I leave for Bowling Green so I'm guessing 1899! or maybe Willoughby Brewing Co.
