mmhmm
Amazon had Day & Age in stock about 5 days go for $20, but it sold out quickly.
krisakarcher
Since these are shipping now I'm assuming interpunk has them and will be shipping soon. Well I'm hoping so at least. On another note I fucking love this album. And also I lucked out last week and snagged day and age for 20 from someone one this board. Happy about that
ruckis
Mine came today from Amoeba! Bought it a couple of weeks ago when they had a 15% online code. I really enjoy this album. So happy The Killers are back. I can't believe how much Day and Age prices have climbed. I swear I bought it for $13 on Amazon last year and it was still readily available for a while after that. krisakarcher
i never really considered the killers to be gone. i know they went on "hiatus" and there was a pretty big gap between day and age and battle born (4 years) but brandon put out flamingo right in the middle of that wait so i guess that made the gap seem acceptable. kannibal
The vinyl is opaque red. And the LPs are 45rpm. Very nice package. Still too early to tell on the mastering or SQ.

jvphotoandvideo
Just gonna order from Interpunk. Can't seriously see myself spending $30+ at Amoeba and either way I get double 180g.
harryq
I should be getting mine from interpunk this afternoon, so I'll find out if it's red or black or whatever
kannibal
After really liking Runaways, I was hoping this album would be more like than Sam's Town than Day and Age. I was wrong.

booms528
Just won "Day & Age" on eBay for $27.50 shipped... pretty sweet deal considering how much prices have climbed (as people said a page or two ago). Cheapest on discogs is something crazy like $120.

Guest crazybeats
Can anyone tell me how this LP sounds? I have the UK version but the UK one is at 33rpm and is prone to some crackling and surface noise. I was just wondering if they used the same master for each pressing or if there was any difference. toomanyrecords
http://interpunk.com/item.cfm?Item=205103& Is this the red version?
lemongoat
Should have been titled "The Killers - Where Has the Rock Gone?"
Guest crazybeats
Yeah that is it. That's the American one I'm thinking of buying. All copies are Red. The UK one is a bit different, it's red but kinda clear too and is 33rpm so there is 3 tracks each side of the 2xLPs and they only use half the space on each side. The US one, the one you linked to is Red Opaque and is 45rpm. I was just wanting to know what the sound quality was like on it or if anyone owned both versions whether there was a difference in sound quality at all. toomanyrecords
I'd be curious to know too. That price is solid and I'd get it as long as it sounds good.
mmhmm
http://interpunk.com/item.cfm?Item=205103& Is this the red version? Best price online. No clue why their's is practically $10 less than everywhere else but jump on this while it's still in print.
mrc
from what i recall, the pressing i got from interpunk sounded fine. I will admit that its not my favorite album and probably only spun it once since i got it for Christmas.
