times. square.

it's the worst. i have to dodge so many tourists and folks trying to sell my bus tours and an average of 3 elmos before i even have my morning coffee.

That sounds like the  worst possible location to work ever. Possibly even worse than working in ISIS controlled Iraq. I hope they make it worth it.

texas sucks so much. so many people get in touch with me to plan a shoot. i take the time and meet up and talk through what we can do and my ideas, cancel my own plans for their shoot. never hear back. this happened all the time for the 3 years i was in dallas. moved back home to new england, i didnt have to work, i could freelance and be comfortable. now im back in texas and im just getting fucked on every lead. its unbelievable. i don't even know where i just sent my resume.

two things:

1. dont go to school

2. if you do, dont go to photography school

yeah, it's a good gig. and they feed us lunch, so i'm glad i don't have to go outside and try to forage for food. i'd probably just starve in that case. aside from coming/going, i only go outside for a afternoon coffee/smoke break. and even in just that 15 minutes, weird shit always seems to go down. don't think i could take much more.

i've worked in soho, chelsea market, empire state building, and now times square. all of them were pretty terrible areas to work.

nooo because i'd make sure you went and did all the cool stuff and i'd also give you a proper lesson on how to use a sidewalk before releasing you into the wild ;)

Ooo also my personal tour guide!

And what do you mean how to use a sidewalk? Surely you just walk whilst staring at your phone whilst bumping into everyone?

Chelsea market is always bustling when I go there, but the food is DEE-LISH. Totally worth the hassle.

I think working in NYC would be kind of awful for sure. I do love Brooklyn though. I could pick out some pretty awsome places to work there if I had any skills, ambitions, or desires to do any of those things. I once took a tour of the Vice offices when a buddy of mine meet up with this girl that works there. That'd be a neat place to work. Bonus: When you leave the office at 7pm Brooklyn Brewery is across the street!

when I was driving back from Michigan I got behind this asshole in the passing lane who was next to a semi. He was going like 60-70 and everyone in Michigan goes 80 pretty much, so I was like get out of my way guy, I’m tired and want to get home. He would speed up and slow down, speed up and slow down. I was behind him for several minutes while he did this never speeding up enough to pass the semi and let me by. After that I was honking and getting pissed, so then I think he started doing it on purpose. FINALLY, the semi speeds up and I get into the other lane and go to pass him and the asshole speeds up so I can’t pass him. he does this several times never letting me pass him. I get up next to his car, him and his girlfriend/wife are smugly looking at me so I’m in blind road rage at this point and yelling and swearing. I was in the midst of rolling my window down to extend my middle finger even further toward them and see this little set of eyes peeking out at me from the back seat. they had a child!!!! what parents are doing that shit when you have a kid in the back? jesus.

I do not get angry often while driving, but that guy got me good. dammit.

I will definitely get in contact before I get there ! Actually tickets have already been bought so I believe it's a pretty real thing at this point.

Ahhhhh. I'm scared. What. If. I. Get. Hurt. I'm not. A. Fighter. I just pretend to be.

I'll bug you, GHOST and Eli once the date gets closer.
