jhook
who are your favorite authors? R.L. Stine
GHOSTDRONES
i would say i moreso have favorite books than authors, but i usually really enjoystuff by david sedaris, dave eggers, john green, vonnegut, patrick ness, neil gaiman (just recently got into his stuff), GRRM. Fair enough, books then.
Princess Logan
Never got into John Green. I love me some Chuck Palahniuk though. I'm also really enjoying the series that Ransom Riggs put out. I'm also more of a favorite book over author person as well.

Have you read the Earthsea books? They're very gaiman meets GRRM in a teen fantasy shell.
youmightbewrong
I'm 40 today, and I feel fine. Except I'm obsessed with getting old because the last 10 years went by so damn fast. Seriously though. How do you all feel about me still going to shows? Sometimes it's awkward. Like when I'm at the barrier and the 17 year old girl next to me tells me to hang on because it's gonna get crazy (and she ends up being the one that security has to pull over the barrier because she can't handle it anymore). I really do love going to shows, but how old is too old?

futures
Sherlock Holmes is one of the antecedents of the police procedural story type Yes, but I should have clarified that "story" refers to any incarnation of the Sherlock Holmes character, including Dr. House. This reminds me to go re-read the Sherlock Holmes story.
