Basically, when I was in Disney, I bought a Kiki's Delivery Service fan in Japan and the lady behind the counter asked if I wanted my name written on it in Japanese. As we were walking out, my friend turned to me and said "You'll never know if she wrote your name. She probably wrote shithead" and someone else chimed in with "or fuckboy." I almost offered Marina and the Diamonds because that's as much as I got but then I realized every single one of Marina's songs is making a stance about the state of society and that's probably not the inspiration she's looking for.
