paintedinexile Posted January 16, 2013 Share Posted January 16, 2013 I heard that in the dinner scene where DiCaprio hurts his hand, and wipes his blood on Kerry Washington's face wasn't in the script. He actually hurt his hand unintentionally and smeared his blood on her face in the heat of the moment, much to her surprise. Quentin loved it, and kept it in the film. I think Leo got snubbed in the best supporting actor category, but the competition is really stacked. Quentin also deserves a directing Oscar I feel. I have to disagree sir. I love tarantino and I absolutely hate true romance and Natural Born Killers. Tarantino should be the only one to direct his own scripts. I think Oliver Stone destroyed Natural Born Killers and find that movie to be pretty unwatchable. I hate everything oliver stone has ever done though...so maybe that is part of it... almightyseancore Posted January 19, 2013 Share Posted January 19, 2013 i thought natural born killers was brilliant and wonderful. i still watch it a few times a year. if tarantino had directed it, things like the black and white sequences, or the almost sitcom style way they shot mallory's home life wouldn't have been there. i read the original tarantino script and it wasn't nearly as good as the movie.
