monk0nuggets
Hey y'all! It's been a while. I've been occasionally peeking in on the action, but I've been a busy body as of late. I hope all is well! That said, I've stumbled across something I thought you might not have seen yet. The website for Upstream Color, a film I saw premiere at Sundance a few weeks back, has the LP soundtrack up for sale at $25 a pop. You can download it for free, but it's gorgeous and the film is incredible. Shane Carruth, the filmmaker (and composer in this case) is self releasing the film and doing all the promo, so the cash is likely ending up in his hands. There's only 500, so get them while they're hot. http://erbpfilm.com/film/upstreamcolor jipc and tonyfranciosa
tonyfranciosa
Thanks for posting this - my most anticipated movie of the year, so I'm definitely in for this. Primer was a mini-masterpiece.
daegor
Tempted, but $25 for 40 minutes of music is a little steep for me... I'll probably regret passing over this and pay too much for it later.
booyahachieved
I simply cannot say no to this! Primer is by far my favorite movie. Probably seen it at least 20 times maybe more. So stoked to finally see another flick from Shane Carruth. It's long overdue. tonyfranciosa

daegor
Just finished watching the movie for the first time.... bought the soundtrack (it's still available!) $41.85 after shipping to Canada is fucking steep, but damn it it might have been the most profound movie I've ever seen
radiatorhums
Didn't even realize this was getting a pressing. I loved everything about the movie, this would be great to have. Looks like it's priced at $30 now, plus $7 for shipping. Ouch.

daegor
Did they press primer on vinyl? that soundtrack was awesome. No, just an mp3 release of a portion of the music.
