ATLIENS

OutKast has almost singlehandedly defined the sound of Atlanta rap. Tongue-flippin', rhyme-spittin' and Cadillac-ridin', all with a Southern accent, Big Boi and Dre have proved to be the South's ideal MCs. ATLiens continues in the same vein as OutKast's 1994 debut, Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik, with producers Organized Noize back to accompany the duo's laid-back flow. ATLiens hit number two and went platinum with help from the gold-selling single “Elevators (Me & You)” (#12 pop, #1 rap), as well as the Top 40 title track.

AQUEMINI

1998's Aquemini is the ambitious third studio release from OutKast and follow-up to 1996's ATLiens. Featuring a complementary instrument-heavy production from Organized Noize and eclectic futuristic themes, Aquemini peaked at  #2 on the Billboard charts thanks to classic lead single “Rosa Parks” which received a 1999 Grammy nomination for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group.

STANKONIA

More ambitious and hook driven then their debut album, 2000's Stankonia is a trippy sort of technopsychedelic funk. Blending elements of hip-hop, alternative rap, southern rap and dirty south music with electronica and psychedelia, the album earned the duo critical acclaim, broad audience appeal and their first #1 pop hit with the single “Ms. Jackson.” Stankonia went on to achieve quadruple-platinum sales status and 2 Grammy Awards including Best Rap Album.

SPEAKERBOXXX / THE LOVE BELOW

To call OutKast's follow-up to their 2000 masterpiece Stankonia the most eagerly awaited hip-hop album of the new millennium may be hyperbole, but not by much. Issued as a double album in 2003 to enormous commercial success, Speakerboxxx/The Love Below is the duos fifth studio album and consists of solo albums from each member. Speakerboxxx is the solo project of Big Boi, performing tracks that are rooted in Southern hip hop, while The Love Below, the solo project of André 3000, covers musical styles such as soul, pop, funk, and jazz. Propelled by the hit singles “Hey Ya!” and “The Way You Move”, which both reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100, the album won a Grammy Award for Album of the Year, making it the second hip hop album to win the award. It has since been certified 11 X platinum by the RIAA.

I'm tempted on this, but the only ones that are must haves for me would be Aquemini and stankonia. ATLiens is nice, but have the 19 tracks are interludes and shit of that sort. Aquemini could easily be one of the greatest rap albums of all time though. You can get it for 20 shipped off Ebay, same with stankonia so I'll pass for now.

I've heard a number of people tell me how Popmarket "claims" to have all of these deals, but many times don't physically have the inventory to meet orders. Heard shipping can take weeks-months and sometimes things are just on backorder for a while.

With that said, there isn't a site out there selling Speakerboxxx sealed for under $30. Seems a little too good to be true I think..

If it works though, quite a steal.
