A lot of people won't draft closers early in particular since it can be a pretty volatile position and somewhat easier to find better value on SV later in the draft. I did my first auction draft ever sunday night. first player put up for bid was mr. Holland from KC, and I won him. I drafted a closer. with my first bid ever.
