impact
i have created http://www.deadformat.net for that purpose. the site is still in its early stages (it's only really been active for a few months now) but we have a pretty large amount of artists, labels, and releases in the database. users can submit content and it will be approved by moderators before it goes live in the database. i've been working pretty hard to make this as user friendly as possible and i've gotten a pretty positive response so far. there is also a messageboard and a place for people to post their have/want lists so they can set up trades with other users. there is also many many more features i'm currently developing that i'm really excited about. database stats: 1298 Artists, 506 Labels, 2017 Pressing Info entries, 2935 Releases, 3545 Vinyl Photos. How could those completely under the radar here? Great database, I love how it's set up. - Jeff i've known about it for months. I guess at first, it was invite only ? vinylme
dead format is a great page, once i get my digi cam i will be upping a bunch of pics and more pressing info. but heres a few resources i like to visit now and then: http://www.loosecharm.org/discog.html jawbreaker discography and pressing info http://www.murdercityvinyl.com/mcd.shtml murder city devils vinyl info
vinylme
I like the idea of this thread, even though there are great resources like burnt wolf and dead format it is still nice to have other sources of pressing info as well. I think we should keep this thread going.

Guest nickman
you should be able to upload .gifs to deadformat.thats my input. if you've got suggestions or whatever i'd appreciate it if you'd post them over on my board, since i don't really check here all that often. that being said, i'll look into getting .gif support added. thanks! xfedaykinx
I dont know how many of these have been stated, but whatever. This thread needs a bump anyway. Lifeline's discog page is a good source for almost every MLIW release: http://www.lifelinerecords.net/discography.htm Deathwish keeps pretty up to date on all their stuff: http://deathwishinc.com/releases/ so does MagicBullet: http://www.magicbulletrecords.com/discography5.html Isis http://sgnlvinyl.com/ ATTN Mods: anyone else think this may be sticky worthy? forgeagain
I know it's small time, but I just recently put up more detailed pressing info for all of my vinyl releases. Just click on the record cover and it'll take you to a page with the pressing info and pictures of all of the different versions. http://www.forgeagainrecords.com/releases.shtml I'm going to get the CD section updated this week as well, as there are a few variations on a couple of records. Let me know if you happen to notice anything missing.

corbet
Deadformat is pretty awesome but has anyone thought about making something like Vinylpedia? Similar layout to Wikipedia and allows users to edit and create pages whenever they want?
